Festival Visual Identity
The Dionysian rituals encompassed three different forms: dithyramb, tragedy, and satyr play, and represented a period of hedonism and extremity. The aim of the poster was to convey this experience of catharsis through visual language.
The three actors depicted on the poster express the heightened emotions associated with each of these forms, while the vibrant colors reflect the described spirit of excess, energy, and vitality of the festival. The slogan “Let emotions steal you away” invites the audience to join the contemporary Dionysian celebrations and experience their own moment of catharsis.
